You might have seen that top featured image on Instagram or Facebook .. HAD to post it as a sneak because I adore it!  Her eyes are incredible!

Oh my goodness, what a gorgeous, fun, SMART girl Mackenzie is….she’s a 2015 Senior at Valencia High and one of my Senior Models this year.

We stayed in Santa Clarita for her session and were able to get some amazingly beautiful shots of her!   Jami did a rockin job on her makeup and hair, as usual – and we had such a fun time with her and her Mom Angela!   They did such a good job choosing her clothing and accessories too.

Mackenzie had this idea for a “Greek Goddess” theme so she and her Mom purchased a dress and that adorable headband for these  (some of my models choose to incorporate a theme into their session and if you book the MODEL session you have time to do that if you like)

Seriously….

and then we had a little fun…. she decided she wanted to wear her Mom’s wedding dress and spruce it up with some red ribbon, shoes and OMG RED lips!  (crazy awesome red lips by Jami…because Mackenzie has the most perfect lips pretty much in all of ever)

those last ones are soooo fun… we had a BLAST

I love how we were able to collaborate via a shared private Pinterest board beforehand so we could make sure she got exactly the kind of session she wanted.  I love doing this with my Seniors – it really helps me get a good understanding of what they want!  I can share MY ideas too and honestly, the girls that take the time to make and share a board with me are the ones whose sessions end up looking the best in my opinion.  We’ve already created a relationship that way, so that by the time the session comes around, I’m super clear on what we all want – me, my client and her MOM (very important part of the equation there).

**Note — if you ever see a girl with red lipstick or more eyeliner, just know that it’s something we agreed on together…. I’m not in the business of making someone look completely different than they really do — as Jami says all the time, “Makeup enhances what you already have — we want you to look like YOU on your best day”.

When you book a session with me, you get all of my attention – before, during and after…..it’s not “just pictures”.

That being said……I have only a few dates left for 2014!!!  If you are hoping to get your Senior Portraits done before November, you need to email me ASAP to get on the books.  Here’s what I have left for 2014:
