This is Demi…a Valencia High 2016 senior where she is active on the volleyball team.
She’s another one of my #2016rbmodel and #reneebowenSEEN models.

We had such a great time shooting Demi’s senior portraits. We shot at a private residence up in the Malibu hills for our first few looks.

Demi was a dream to work with. Her natural beauty was enhanced by the hair and makeup magic of the amazing Jami Cox.
This family is awesome…I really enjoyed spending time with Demi and her mom – I shot her older sister Brooke’s senior pics wayyyyy back when (it wasn’t that long ago, but she DID just graduate college :o)

I am so thrilled that I got to photograph Demi as well – love working with repeat clients!

Demi made great choices for her wardrobe. It’s easy to pick great outfits when your sister works at Free People!
I absolutely LOVE this red dress with lacy bell sleeves.   The color really pops against the green and the strange white clay-like mud in the dried up wash – the ground there was really soft and kind of weird – but Demi trecked through it all

IN THOSE SHOES!

Seriously …. those shoes.

I die.

 

After awhile, we shifted our location to the top of a hill overlooking the ocean. The view was amazing!

These were shot in full sun because sometimes you just gotta face the wind and embrace the California sunshine!

 

We finished up the shoot on one of my FAVORITE Malibu beaches. The late evening sun was absolutely stunning!

This is pretty much straight out of the camera – no added “light”.
