Happy Wednesday!  I’m super thrilled to finally share Bri’s blog with y’all!  Bri is an absolute natural in front of the camera and I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot with her a few times this year.  She’s part of my 2018 #rbmodel team, so we’ve done some fun shoots over the last few months – and she just kills it every time.  She works part-time as a model, so she totally knows what she’s doing 🙂 

We shot her session under the radar at Descanso Gardens (ssshhhhhh) lol – but Bri is so easy to shoot, and I don’t need any external lighting, etc. – so we just walked and shot, walked and shot.  The gardens are beautiful and really complimented her retro vibe.  (I don’t recommend just showing up and shooting anywhere that normally requires a pricey permit – and wouldn’t do this had I not shot previously shot with my client; I knew that Bri was super easy to shoot before we shot her senior session, and also let her know that if we were asked to leave, we’d have to find a local park and wing it – which she was fine with)

We were also lucky to have such great weather that day; it was just slightly overcast, but with really nice reflective natural light. I love all of Bri’s outfits – most of them are vintage or from thrift stores – she finds the coolest stuff!

They were setting up for the holiday light installment when we shot these, so there were all these huge geometric shiny shapes, which made for some fun shots.
